Approval for new members

I am taking a hard line against spammers joining the site plying their wares. From now on all new members will require my approval to join.

Hmm. Good to take a stand against spammers. Is there an option so everyone can view the website though? It would be good if viewing was open but posting was restricted. That would stop spammers and let us use the site to share videos/photos etc. What do u think?

I've had a think about it and there is value still in letting the public view the content so I have reinstated that ability. New members will still need my approval though.
