fundraising event

hey guys as we are heading out of winter and in to better weather. I was thinking perhaps we should have an open day of some sort at the bmx track i.e. competitions,fun events aimed at the whole family and food to A. fundraise some money for the club and B. get more people to sign up to the club so we can have more people show up to digs and get lots more done.

was wondering what people think of that ?

sounds like a great idea to me and all of the power hungry people in the club would get a real kick out of somtehing like this. also we could do like demos for all the little'es

Do you know how you sign up for the club?

the club is website based so you are already signed up to the club. there was a form of somesort so that they could be considered as a club to get a bank account and funding

Yeah we required a minimum of signatures to start the club, but other than that it's fairly loose membership. Technically, if you're accepted as a member of this site then you can consider yourself a club member. If we get into a situation further down the track of taking membership fees, then we may distinguish between paid and free members.
