Please take the time to read the document which outlines the responsibilities of the Wellington City Council & TORRC with regards the BMX/Jump track.

It says we must notify WCC about ALL working bees and accidents, what exactly does that entail (ie just a post on the site or something more?)

Just an email directly to Thomas Hicky, who is our council contact.

Since Thomas is a member of this site, if you create an event and invite him, then he will be notified I think.

Hi this is Thomas,
If you are having the regular monday dig and ride I don't need to be told about that.
If you are doing other stuff like getting machines in there, or using power equipment like brush cutters and chain saws I need to be notified by email and phone.

I'm never going to say no to doing any work, I just need to be informed for health and safety reasons.

as far as accidents go, if you have an accident that requires medical attention, you just need to call the WCC contact centre (4994444) and tell them what happened. this is so we can keep track of things across the city and is not specific to the bmx track.

so if i come off and break an arm i need to contact wcc but if a graze a knee or somtin its ok

but what if you have over protective parents who say "ohh we need to go to the doctor and check that out and make sure its not infected" do we need to contact the wcc

I can't work out if you're being facetious or not.

I suspect it means that if you munt yourself and require serious medical attention, then the council need to know about it.

good work Rob. If your mummy needs to kiss it better I dont need to know, but if the ambulance man needs 5 people to hold you down while he pushes your shin bone back to the inside of your skin I do.
