Tawa Off Road Riders Club

Tawa, Wellington, New Zealand

Yes that time of year has jumped us already!!
Daylight savings last week, so nows the time to resurrect the Monday Night Dig'n'Ride night!

If the weather hold back for the rest of the day I will be down there some time after work to keep on with the new jump lines.

Would be great to get some wicked pumpers running for the summer. I intend to spend a lot of time practicing air time.

I am working on getting things moving for the skills area, just waiting for some info from the council.

See You There!!

OK people,

Digging down at the track tonight from about 6pm till dark.
Will be starting in the 3rd jump line down the side of the bank.
May look at having doubles & table tops side by side.

See you there

Yes Rob, its a joke......

No need to get your panties in a twist. Your preaching to the converted here :-)

Go and have a go at the first jump in the second jump line, I've started building the second jump but want to make sure the first is giving you enough speed to set you up for the second.

I get the feeling that we will be reducing the size of the massive jumps an have it so you can do them with a run in from the track.

Thinking of doing another set of massive jumps over by the bank to give us a better run in.

we dont really need to reduce the size of the larger jump line we just need to change the lip because at the momment its a bit vert so it doesn't give you the length you need so if we make it more of a long jump lip it should be all gud

i think the take off and landing need to be closer together cos when they were cut down it made it less scary but it actually made the gap bigger making them harder to clear.
