Greeting to the faithful... Will be down at the track tonight with my spade & wheel barrow.
Won't be able to be down there till just after 7pm.
If you need to be home before that but still want to do something, grab a garden broom & give the track a sweep. All the loose lime needs to be cleared off. Try to sweep it into piles on the side of the track so that I can barrow it to a central point to be used later.
Did a bit of sweeping tonight, cleaned up the last burm. With all the rubbish gone it rolls real fast, gives you plenty of speed for the jump lines. I was able to clear the first jump on the second line comfortably, will be a nice set of jumps once the other 3 are finished.
I still think the 3 mountains need to be trimmed down a bit. I know Bubba (Matt - yes you should all call him that!) thinks they are do-able, but it seems like to much hard work to get that kind of speed needed to clear them.
So will be looking to build the super set by the bank with a clean run in to make it work better.
I wont be around next week but if your still keen, more of the track needs to be swept.
Im gonna go dwn to the track abt midday sunday to sweep the inside line and clean up the run in (4 the big jump line) behind the berm. hope to c some of u dwn there if ur keen txt me on 0272064161
