Looking at starting a weekly dig 'n' ride over the summer on Monday evenings.
Thinking of running it from 6pm til dark down at the track & up at the spicer trail.

Yea i'm keen. I was in the process of organising a clean up of the start of the kwi track this evening using high power weedeaters but one of my mates broke his leg so that has been postponed. Maybe next monday?

I am also organising a big dig up kiwi on Saturday, 13th December.

Yay more help! We have started a small rhythm section which needs the berm at the end finished and a few more jumps plus we have a few lines near the gate which have been air marked for jumps/drops.

Matt is also building an 8 footer on the straight after the first corner after the gate which he wants help with.

I am back in a week and will b taking a small wooden kicker up so will post here when i do so.

Have been up the Kiwi cres trail tonight. Droped off a new ramp that I had built. Only managed to drag it to about 50m past the river crossing. If any of you young fellas are able to help, it will probably take 2 of ya to get it up to where the other jumps have been built.

Thats awesome, can't wait to get back from holiday and ride it. Do you think there is any potential in the carpted jumps?

The carpet is a good idea, and they have a nice shape to them. Just need them to have landing ramps to make them doubles, that way you can pump from jump to jump.
I dragged the ramp further up the track yesterday and got it to the bottom burm.
I have also built 8m of ladder which is ready to be taken up there. Just need to get some uprights which are strong enough, but I know where some are, just need to get them.

What are you up to on 10th or 11th? Would you be keen to oranise a dig up kiwi cres? Also, if you can get hold of old wooden pallets i'd b keen to help you cut them.

Thats what Ive been using. There is a big pile of them down at Aqua Heat beside BP.
Have started doing digs every Monday night so will be up at kiwi cres every second week.
Will be spending a few weekends up there when I get the time.

Is anyone going to be around tomorrow for the Monday night dig n ride?
Might head up to kiwi cres again as I have now cleared the track so I can get the ute to the river.
I also dropped off a HUGE pile of timber including about 12m of pre built ladders. All of it needs to be lugged up to the jumps. I have already got 2 lengths of ladder up to the burm. Would be nice to have some help to get the rest up there.
